Exam week!!

This week is the exam week,a week when you can see everyone studying like mad-just to pass a measuring stick used to gauge our learning process-everywhere.I am trying my best to be in middle, not top ,not bottom, just middle.
What a difficult situation.Surviving just to be in the middle.Haih...

How do you chase after what you do not know existed?

This case is in what i studied in NUS,Reasons and persuasion.
The case discusses about whether virtue is teachable or is it not.The story goes like this.
Learning is a recollection of what you studied in your previous life,as in when you are in hell or the life before this life.
Like what is in the book,

Persephone will accept requital for ancient sin from those
Whose souls she will restore again to the sun above in the ninth year,
And from thse seeds men will grow,
Noble kings ,mighty in strength and greatest in wisdom,
And for the rest of time men will call them sacred heroes.

WHat it means are soul is immortal, gets reborn from time to time, after death, after life.So there is no wonder a soul can recollect all it has studied previously in life.
If you are smart in previous life, then you are smart this life.
I dont really agree with this philosophy if that's the case.If everyone can recollect all everyone has studied in previous life, then there will be no 'not that smart people' in this world. How can the book state something which is so out of the world? If the author has recollected what he has learned ,then he shouldnt write these things down.AM i right?

HOW LAW CAN BE UNLAWFUL

Recently i have read on a news reporting on MALAYSIA regarding an INDONESIAN muslim got sentenced for drinking alcoholic drinks after the women?
How come there is only one case in a blue moon?there are so many muslims in our country. How come only one INDONESIAN muslim take the heat?
IF our country is really determined to rid alcohols from all the muslims in our country ,I think they need to work harder.Well,if they really do work harder, there would be thousands of cases involving local muslims drinking alcohol.

INVENTIONS!HOW NICE I I CAN DREAM OF ONE!

I went to this lecture recently. It is all about Innovations and Crativity.
Sort of fascinating i suppose.According to the lecture, inventions come from dreams.
Although i don't really agree with that statement, the fact that most of our daily items are invented by accidents intrigued me.Cereals like Kellog Frosties are accidentally made when they tested with stale food in hospital.Firecrackers are synthesized by a china chef when he cleverly added sulfur and charcoal into his cooking(either to kill someone or what).
Well i think everyone should have more accidents everyday with stuffs so newer inventions can appear more often in the market.

English education system not good enough

I have learned new things here.Things i never expected to learn.
What is that thing? It is BASIC ENGLISH GRAMMAR....I NEVER KNEW I MISSED OUT SO MUCH IN PRIMARY SCHOOL AND SECONDARY SCHOOL..WHAT THE HELL!!!Well this reflects on how bad Malaysian education system is.Focusing more on the national language and less on the international language. The action is comparatively same as throwing a person who cannot swim into a sea dwelling with sharks, expecting them to learn how to swim in the few seconds before sleeping with the sharks..
Even the China education system is better in the grammar side.some of the China people can explain to me what, why and how the sentence is wrong....Oh crap!!!No use regretting..

Leadership for dummies

One thing i learned today.Let's get the ball rolling ,shall we?This is what i learned today.
Everyone,i believe you all know there is this book about "something for dummies" right?
Okay.My philosophy lecture told us this joke regarding books with the title of 'Leadership for dummies'.Why do we need this book?If we are dummies, shouldn't we let somebody else who is not a dummy to be a leader? This is not right,am I right? The author should have published a book on 'Followership for dummies".Let's contemplate on this issue and post some comments.Thank you.

fast lane in NUS

Singapore is truly in the fast lane-from economies to the daily lives of the citizens.Let me just share my experience in Singapore. To be exact,in one of the world famous in its cleanliness, toilet.
Well, being a Malaysian,i tend to savour the moment in the toilet, slowly enjoying the process of pass motion.
One day,I was in this toilet in NUS and doing some pass motion. After that,i heard someone went inside the toilet.Shockingly, the guy did his pass motion with such a great velocity that i was left behind for minutes. The moment the guy shuts the door."Thum!Hmmmm!!Plop PLop Plop(the sound of his bombs dropping into the bowl)!!!"That sums up the speed of this action-the action of pass motion.
OMG!!!
